Infant suction monitor for NICU clinicians. Designed pressure sensing and bioimpedance modules, laid out a multi-layer KiCad PCB with separated analog/digital/power planes, and tested revisions against clinical benchmarks in the Dominican Republic. Currently pursuing IRB at Texas Children's Hospital.
Wearables Hardware Intern
Wearable electrochemical sensors that continuously track biomarkers in sweat. Laid out analog circuitry for ion-selective electrodes and wrote embedded C on an ARM Cortex-M4 to sample sensors over SPI and I²C.
Research Intern
Studied fungal growth arrest in Theobroma cacao L. during unfavourable drying conditions and its impact on final bean quality. Also completed the CRC's Intro to Chocolate Production course: pod to bar.
